Chelsea at Everton predicted XI: 3-4-2-1 at Goodison Park
Mason Mount (No. 19) Right winger, England
Chelsea’s Men’s Player of the Year in 2021 and 2022. Mason Mount had an amazing season last year, becoming the youngest Blues player to hit 10 goals and assists in a single Premier League campaign. He played a crucial role in the team with his all-around creative play and the amount of chances created was very good for a natural midfielder. The England international had 29 goal involvements in all competitions last season and he is set to have another successful campaign with the addition of fellow England star Raheem Sterling in attack.
Kai Havertz (No. 29) Center forward, Germany
Kai Havertz was deemed the ‘perfect Romelu Lukaku replacement’ by fellow German and his manager, Tuchel. The youngster is set on leading the line for Chelsea this season. He scored 14 goals across all competitions last year and he has welcomed the signing of Sterling to the squad, saying he is open and willing to adapt to play any of the front three positions. Havertz hopes that a winning mentality can help both him and his teammates in the season ahead.
Raheem Sterling (No. 17) Left winger, England
Raheem the dream. One of Manchester City’s best players over recent seasons has signed for the Blues. Sterling had a great preseason with the club, scoring his first goal for Chelsea against Udinese. The England international is entering the prime years of his career, and he can really bolster the Blues’ attack with his devastating ability to run in behind of defenders and his blistering pace.
