Chelsea vs West Ham: London derby betting guide
By Mike Malley
A second prop I like for the derby is away team over 3.5 corners at +100 odds. West Ham is a physically massive team that relies on slow build-up play and crosses to score a lot of its goals. This style also leads to many corner kicks being taken, as evidenced by the fact that Chelsea’s crosstown rivals have totaled more than three corners in four of their seven total matches.
CFC will face a tough task in defending the likes of Kurt Zouma, Declan Rice, Tomas Soucek, and Michail Antonio on these set pieces, so you know Moyes will have it installed as part of his side’s game plan. The plus juice odds make this prop play particularly attractive.
Official Chelsea odds (via FanDuel as of September 1)

West Ham ML: +500

Over/Under: 2.5 (-138/+114)
My picks:
My cynicism about this Chelsea season is growing with each match, so you’ll probably find predominantly neutral picks in my guides if the team’s form continues on its current trajectory. My two first picks, the both teams to score (-130) and away team over 3.5 corner kicks (+100) props, follow this pattern precisely. I’ll take a similar lane with my final selection, betting over 2.5 total goals at -138 odds. I’ve been perfect on goal totals so far during this Blues campaign, so let’s hope for that trend to continue.
