This is the Chelsea personnel PoL thinks will make the starting XI vs the Hammers

GOALKEEPER

Edouard Mendy

The fixtures are becoming weightier, which is why supporters should expect some rotation in the starting XI relatively soon. However, the Blues’ No. 1 goalkeeper doesn’t need to be rotated often even with recent form. Edouard Mendy will need to play as much as he can in the Premier League, as he is Chelsea’s best shot-stopper. He can rest in side competitions, such as the Carabao Cup.

DEFENDERS

Kalidou Koulibaly was restored to the starting line-up against Southampton after he served his one-match ban against Leicester City, sustained during the horrendous performance against Leeds United. Whenever the Senegalese is available, he starts. And compared to his previous performance against Leicester, the Senegalese was much better. Looked good on one-on-one’s too. Koulibaly had the ability to become one of the best centre backs in the Premier League and that is exactly what he is going to do.

Thiago Silva

The Brazilian got an unexpected start last time out at St. Mary’s after an illness to Reece James and an unexpected injury to Chalobah. The Brazilian was superb and was pivotal to Chelsea not conceding more than two goals and also strived to play out from the back. El Monstro is a fine wine that gets better with age.
