Chelsea supporters can now take a look and give their verdict on the brand new and seemingly confirmed Blues third strip following FIFA 23 leaking it.

The final edition of the iconic FIFA video game has now been released – if you pre-ordered a copy, that is. If not, you’ll be waiting desperately until the shops sell it on Friday. Next year’s edition will be entitled EA Sports FC. That title is not good.

Moving on to why you’re here, Chels’ fans are awaiting the typically late launch of the team’s 2022/23 third strip, particularly the shirt as always. Well, the faithful can now peruse the jersey, shorts and socks thanks to a premature showing on FIFA’s latest edition.

Basically, users of FIFA 23 noticed an option to use three CFC in-game outfits, in spite of the 3rd strip not yet being available to purchase or even officially see. Above is a tweet from Football Joe which displays the kit in extremely detailed digital form. Naturally sites such as Footy Headlines had previously shown leaked images of the pale appearing golden shirt.

Brighton & Hove Albion star open to joining former boss at Chelsea

Brighton’s Leandro Trossard has openly stated that he’d want to sign for the west London giants if he were given the opportunity. This is a very unusual and untypical revelation to be made by an elite footballer; Graham Potter being his ex-gaffer possibly lessens the surprise. And, of course, it is no real shock that a notable professional would eye a move to Stamford Bridge.

What Trossard said exactly is interesting; essentially he is happy with the Seagulls’ flying start to the Premier League campaign, and admits to personal growth at the seaside. Yet if a bid came in from the Blues, he would wish to exit his current club.

However, continuing in an outspoken and confident manner, the Belgian suggested he would be unsatisfied with a mere substitute role on Fulham Road. I see Trossard as a squad or rotation player if he was captured by CFC: there are players like Raheem Sterling standing in his path to a prospective Blues starting berth.
