Chelsea at Palace: predicted XI, 3-5-2 for Potter?
Raheem Sterling (No. 17) Left wide midfielder, England
Sterling played as the left wide midfielder in the Salzburg game and generally looked good there as he often had a lot of space to work with. He was almost always in a position to receive a switch of play. He leads Chelsea in goals and big chances created this season, and he’s only scored one big chance out of the three created for him in the league so far.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (No. 9) Center forward, Gabon
Aubameyang will likely start as one of the strikers in this game because of his movement. If he’s able to link up with Kai Havertz, Mason Mount, and Raheem Sterling, Blues fans will enjoy what is to come. Yes, he may have been bought at the personal request of Thomas Tuchel, but make no mistake, Aubameyang is still a very good striker despite being 33 years old.
Kai Havertz (No. 29) Center forward, Germany
Havertz was clinical, emphatic, and stupendous against England for Germany during the just concluded international break. All CFC fans ask is: Why can’t he be like that for the Blues? He scored two goals and gave England even more problems. It’s worth noting, though, that he played as an attacking midfielder in that game.
