Mateo Kovacic (No. 8) Right central midfielder, Croatia

Kovacic started the Wolves game from the bench, but came on and gave one of his trademark threaded through-ball assists. He only played 24 minutes but he was good.

Jorginho (No. 5) Central midfielder, Italy

Jorginho was very good against Wolves, the same cannot be said about Ruben Loftus-cheek as he won 0/5 duels and 0/2 tackles in the 66 minutes he was on the pitch. Jorginho’s all-round game was much better, with a 93% pass success rate and 7 passes into the final third, he won 2/4 tackles and 7/11 duels.

Raheem Sterling (No. 17) Left attacking midfielder, England

Sterling will always start when fit. He has played every game for the Blues this season and got a much-needed rest against Wolves.

Mason Mount (No. 19) Right attacking midfielder, England

Mount was superb against Wolves. He created an impressive five chances, including his first clear-cut chance of the season. He also had two assists from a brilliant cross and pass to Kai Havertz and Christian Pulisic respectively. his form seems to be turning around for the better.

Trending. Aubameyang is trolling Arteta. light

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (No. 9) Center forward, Gabon

Aubameyang has scored three goals in his last three games, which is proof that there’s merit in creating chances for your strikers, who would’ve thought? Aubameyang did not appear in the match against Wolves and rightly so, because some may have forgotten but he IS 33, and cannot play as much as anyone wants, no matter how lethal he seems to be in the penalty area.
