The Pride of London detail and preview each and every remaining World Cup Group fixture that should feature Chelsea stars and on loan personnel.

The World Cup is as entertaining as it is unpredictable at present. I hope everyone is thoroughly enjoying it so far. We’ve already watched most Blues in action in their maiden matches of Qatar 2022, but which outings remain?

First of all, let’s cover the loanees. CFC have three assets currently playing domestic football elsewhere.

Ethan Ampadu (Spezia) represents Wales, and was substituted in the 1-1 draw versus USMNT. Wales have Iran left to play on 25 November, as well as England on the 29th subsequently.

Romelu Lukaku (Inter Milan) is injured at the moment so missed Belgiums initial clash with Canada. The striker is also expected to miss the next match against Morocco on Sunday. Maybe Lukaku will return for the Croatia game on Friday, 1 December.

Meanwhile, Baba Rahman (Reading) awaits Ghana’s match versus Portugal later today (Thursday). South Korea and Uruguay follow for the Ghanaians.

Onto the other Chels’ footballers in the illustrious competition now, starting with Cesar Azpilicueta of Spain. Azpilicueta played the full 90 minutes as his team demolished Costa Rica 7-0. Germany and Japan are the final two group meetings for ‘Azpi’ on 27 Nov’ and 1 Dec’ respectively.

Mason Mount and Raheem Sterling both played for England in the 6-2 victory vs Iran, while Conor Gallagher was an unused sub. The Three Lions play USA on Friday and then Wales on November 29.

Kai Havertz appeared in Germany’s shock loss to the Japanese, but was replaced during the match. Spain are next on the 27th and Costa Rica afterwards.

CFC’s Kalidou Koulibaly and Edouard Mendy are with Senegal, who lost 2-0 to Netherlands in their opener. They now play Qatar and Ecuador on the 25th and 29th respectively.

Mateo Kovacic emerged from the bench to help Croatia defeat Saudi Arabia 1-0. Next up are Canada on the 27th, and subsequently Belgium on 1 Dec.

Christian Pulisic’s USA side have England to play, as previously outlined, then Iran on the 29th. Thiago Silva and Brazil meet Serbia on Thursday evening; Switzerland on the 28th and Cameroon on 2 December complete the Brazilians’ early stage fixtures.

On loan Blue Denis Zakaria is Swiss, and they have just beaten Cameroon at the time of writing. Zakaria did not feature. Switzerland contest Brazil on the 28th of this month and Serbia on 2 December.

Lastly there is Hakim Ziyech of Morocco. Following a draw, the Moroccans face Belgium on Sunday and Canada at the start of Dec. All games are available on fuboTV in both English and Spanish – here’s a link to a free trial for FS readers.
