According to a trustworthy report, Chelsea are considering a transfer for Joao Felix, but any deal might perhaps include this wise stipulation.

The Blues are lacking productivity and even an effervescence, especially from the wing department. I think that assertion really is a fact and everyone at the west London club would do well to recognise it, and find a solution. And finding solutions could mean, as we all know, using the January transfer window to an advantage with CFC’s considerable means.

It doesn’t appear as though Christian Pulisic will make it as a Blue. The USMNT star will likely be sold soon, unless a miraculous and drastic turnaround transpires. I still imagine that captain America will return to haunt Stamford Bridge in the future.

While Raheem Sterling possesses what is needed to succeed in the Premier League at elite level, it seems that – everyone was probably aware of this deep down, as well – in order to produce his utmost form, the former Liverpool man requires stars around him. In other words, maybe the England wingman shows his best when he has the highest quality teammates.

At present, CFC is not as strong as it was or should be, which may explain why Sterling hasn’t made quite the impact that should be expected, especially in the EPL. This leaves a problem: which winger should the Blues sign to enhance the team and to help propel Chelsea up the league table? Well, there could be an answer on the way!

New Chelsea wing signing very possible

My choice of potentially ideal acquisition for the left wing position would probably be Rafael Leao of AC Milan. Whilst Graham Potter’s men essentially dominated the Italian outfit in the Champions League this season, I noted Leao as Milan’s brightest spark and a constant threat, however well dealt with by the amazing Reece James.

Although, it seems Potter an Co. are going in a different direction. Actually, the man Chels’ want arguably kept Leao from making a his reputation even larger by thrilling World Cup audiences: Joao Felix. Clearly Felix is a superb attacker; some obviously consider Atletico Madrid’s player better, or certainly more developed and experienced. Though both are 23 years old.

Mike McGrath of The Telegraph claims that the Blues are pondering a deal for the Atletico athlete. Initially, the agreement may be a loan with an option or obligation – more worryingly – to buy at the end of the season. I am sure Felix could be a success in the English top-flight, though the first stipulation mentioned is a preference of PoL.
