The January transfer window has ended and the focus now shifts to football on the pitch. Chelsea has had an excellent transfer window signing eight players with some of the most exciting names in the world football joining the Blues. Mykhailo Mudryk, Noni Madueke and Enzo Fernandez have all been big name arrivals at Stamford Bridge and their arrivals have send waves of exhilaration among the fans.
Chelsea had been dealing with injury issues in all departments but the new arrivals finally provide some depth and give Graham Potter a sigh of relief. The rebuild of the club is into the eighth gear and now Potter just needs to drive this supercar to its destination.
Chelsea’s first aim will be to get a consistent run of results in the Premier League as this is a squad that can do much better than 10th in the table. The Blues will be chasing a top four spot and with the new resources at Potter’s disposal, Chelsea could become a force to reckon with.
After an underwhelming January on the pitch, which saw the Blues win just once in six encounters, CFC are ready to take on Marco Silva’s Fulham. Potter’s side faced the Cottagers in January at the Craven Cottage and lost 2-1 but the story could be different this time around as the Blues have a much stronger team available.
Chelsea predicted lineup vs Fulham
Goalkeeper: Kepa Arrizabalaga
Kepa has remained the first choice keeper for Potter and will continue to be the preferred choice as Edouard Mendy remains on the sidelines with a shoulder injury. Kepa has six clean sheets in 12 Premier League games and will be hoping to add one to his tally on Friday.
