Fantasy Premier League players will be very encouraged to include Chelsea options in their respective teams because there is now some good Blues injury news.

Chelsea play Fulham on Friday evening with a short trip to Craven Cottage. There will be some fresh faces showcased by CFC as they endeavour to defeat FFC. Mykhailo Mudryk might perhaps start, if my Fantasy Premier League side is blessed, anyway. Enzo Fernandez awaits clearance, so he is a debut doubt.

However, some formerly injured stars could return. Let’s see who Graham Potter spoke about at his pre-match press conference:

"“Ben Chilwell, Reece James, Raheem Sterling and Ruben [Loftus-Cheek] are back in the squad, not [the quartet won’t play] 90 minutes.”“Wesley [Fofana] has been training partly with the team and he will be stepping it up next week.”“We are still without Denis, Pulisic, Kovacic, Kante and Broja.”"

The excitement emanating from the Blues fan base is palpable following a simply staggering transfer window. Business in the prior market was also eye-catching; summer signings probably won’t work out to be quite as fruitful as their winter counterparts shall likely be.

One of the main focuses and talking points for supporters of the west London club was the capture of the recent World Cup winner with Argentina. To be fair, Fernandez’s courtship with CFC became a saga which was tedious for fans for a while. Although, the final outcome was even more pleasing at the eleventh hour, somehow, possibly because you think a deal is dead and then are surprised.

After attacking reinforcements transpired over time in the form of Joao Felix – on loan from Atletico Madrid, though ever so valuable – Noni Madueke and Mykhailo Mudryk, pundits and spectators alike now consider Potter’s men a force again. Now that Fernandez has joined, people must be considering Chels’ a contender for every trophy available in 2023/24! He feels like the puzzle’s culminating piece.

And the former Brighton & Hove Albion manager is very pleased to have the Argentine at Stamford Bridge. Potter revealed that he and his staff, including recruitment personnel, were ‘aware of Fernandez’s qualities before the World Cup’. Apparently, the ex-Benfica man was a potential target prior to the Qatar tournament. In addition to that, the Englishman said that they knew the midfielder‘s price would rocket following a supremely successful international competition.
