According to a plethora of reports, Chelsea striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has chosen a surprise next club as he temporarily ends his Blues nightmare.

We see no point in beating around the bush on this site: Aubameyang was a flop of a signing at Stamford Bridge! The situation is that simple. I must admit, I presumed that the onetime Arsenal striker would re-enter the Premier League and do a decent job for the west Londoners. Alas, it wasn’t to be.

There was trepidation from some CFC supporters before the transfer was completed, and rightly so. At first ‘Auba’ scored a few goals so legitimate anticipation became promise. Yet optimism faded just as the forward’s intensity and clinical finishing dissolved from games. Now fully out of Graham Potter’s plans following a Champions League squad snub, Aubameyang must find a new team.

It appears as though the Gabonese will leave England altogether, once more. Aubameyang is reportedly off to Los Angeles in America with LAFC. Chelsea are, however, having to cover the 33-year-old’s entire salary. The move is generally ideal for all parties.

Outspoken Chelsea legend wants Blues player dropped – and he’s probably right

I though tMarc Cucurella was slightly better versus Fulham. Although, the ex-Brighton & Hove Albion defender has set a particularly low EPL bar for himself, at a particularly high profile English top-flight outfit. When Ben Chilwell is considered fully fit, the Spaniard will immediately drop to the bench, surely.

Yeah, I think Cucurella has been poor since his big-money move from the Seagulls. You see a player of some distinction in patches. Though, where was that man who defended stoutly but who also caught the eye due to flying down the wing past opponents and actually had some attacking output?

Frank Leboeuf agrees. Well, as usual, Leboeuf really set the pontifical tone. Again. The former CFC centreback essentially said to ESPN, via Mirror Sport, that the current leftback is not good enough for Chels’.

In addition to that assertion, the Frenchman declared that he hopes Reece James and Chilwell are ready for continuous action soon, as Leboeuf doesn’t want to see Cucurella playing anymore. Furthermore, the 55-year-old labelled the £60million-plus price tag as “crazy”.
