West Ham 1-1 Chelsea player ratings: Joao Felix shines, Havertz sluggish
Kepa Arrizabalaga (Goalkeeper): 6/10
The Spaniard came into this game keeping four consecutive clean sheets. However, his streak was put to an end today with a very average performance overall. Although there wasn’t much he could do to prevent the goal, his distribution wasn’t the best either. Kepa will try and forget about this game, considering the UCL RO16 fixture against Borussia Dortmund approaching soon.
Reece James (Right back): 7/10
The English right back started his second consecutive game as he returns from injury trying to gain match sharpness. James kept it simple and did not try anything extra-ordinary. However, his passing was on point and was also involved in some crucial interventions in the second half of the game.
Thiago Silva (Center back): 7/10
The veteran stepped onto the field having signed a contract extension earlier this week. Yet again, the Brazilian put on a decent performance. His backline did suffer a bit this time around, but Thiago Silva did well with his performance involving a last-ditch tackle.
Benoit Badiashile (Centre back): 7/10
The French International has started three games consecutive games since joining CFC in January and managed to keep a clean sheet in all of them. The streak ends but Benoit Badiashile still remains one of the best signings of the January transfer window. The Frenchman could’ve done better to get onto the scoresheet when attacking corners but he did play well overall.
Marc Cucurella (Left back): 5/10
Cucurella yet again was caught out of position on multiple occasions and let Jarrod Bowen and Vladmir Coufal exploit the right flank. The Spaniard clearly needs to do better to warrant a starting position in the near future. He was replaced by Benjamin Chilwell in the 67th minute.
