I can personally say that during my 10 plus years as a Chelsea supporter, the team has never seen a run of results like the one it’s currently on. The Blues have been victorious only twice since November 3, first by beating Bournemouth handily during the Boxing Day fixtures and then with a narrow 1-0 win over Palace in the middle of January. I’ve tried to stay positive despite the increasingly frustrating performances, but I’m genuinely starting to lose interest in watching matches. It’s just not fun going into every contest knowing that CFC will lose, regardless of which side plays better over the 90’. I don’t even know what the club’s biggest problem is anymore, but the fact that the pride has only scored six times in 16 games during this horrendous run of form is absolutely pathetic.

Sacking Graham Potter wouldn’t fix anything at this point in the season, as there’s already nothing left to play for, but I don’t think the Englishman has done anything to deserve the benefit of the doubt once the summer rolls around. If there isn’t a tangible improvement in terms of both performances and results between now and the end of the campaign, a change needs to be made.
