Pulisic return date revealed amid talk he almost left Chelsea
The Pride of London discuss Christian Pulisic’s return date following injury. It is also revealed that the America international could have been forced out of Chelsea during the January transfer window for an obvious reason.
Should Graham Potter be sacked if the Blues lose to Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday? That is a difficult question to answer; I know much of the CFC fan base want him gone, but I’m not sure the current collective would be a whole lot better under another head coach more suited to the upper echelons of elite level of football. Do eminent managers even want to come to a hectic Stamford Bridge at present? Probably not; it was recently claimed that Mauricio Pochettino rejected advances concerning the Chelsea job.
I don’t think co-owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali will relieve the Englishman of duty very soon. They will likely stick by him, unless the season degenerates to an even worse degree. A bad loss to Spurs might perhaps be the catalyst or good reason to switch bosses, though I can’t see it happening yet.
Fit again Christian Pulisic was almost forced out of Chelsea suggests a report
Will the soon-to-be ready Christian Pulisic help the Chels’ cause at all? I am guessing possibly not; the USMNT man will have to perform a drastic turnaround to even get anywhere near productive, let alone standout or a game changer. To be fair, he’s been absolutely substandard in recent time. Yeah, I think it’s fair to say that Pulisic has declined on Fulham Road: he wasn’t quite as bad and offered something in the earlier stages of his Blues career. All that promise and hype, as well!
When can we expect to see the USA star back? The former Borussia Dortmund forward is unavailable to face the North London side at the weekend. Potter said the winger shall be fully integrated into training next week. There is speculation that Pulisic’s target return date is the Leeds United match on March 4.
On the subject of Pulisic, Chelsea wanted to ‘offload‘ him in January due to the signing of Mykhailo Mudryk. However, the 24-year-old’s knee injury derailed plans.
