Tottenham Hotspur hosted Chelsea in the London Debry this weekend. In spite of the recent struggles, the Chels’ faithful were optimistic about getting a result in this game due to their past meetings. The last time Spurs got the better of the Blues in the League was 2018 that is when Maurizio Sarri was in charge. Also, Spurs have not managed to avoid defeat in both Premier League meetings against CFC since the 2015-16 season.

Chelsea fell to a 2-0 defeat as Harry Kane and Oliver Skipp scored to hand Graham Potter and Chelsea their ninth loss of the season. Pressure continues to mount on Potter as demands for his sack increase from the fans.

With yet another lackluster performance, Chelsea allowed Tottenham Hotspur to end a run of eight games without a victory against them. The West Londoners have now scored only six goals across their last 12 games in the Premier League, which makes them the lowest scoring side since the start of November.

Every time the Chelsea supporters think that the club has hit rock bottom and it couldn’t get worse, this team finds a way. CFC showed no signs of progress, in fact they looked a lot more clueless than they were against Borussia Dortmund and West Ham.
