Winless in six straight matches, Chelsea and head coach Graham Potter are feeling some extra pressure for tomorrow’s match against Leeds United.

Potter has faced pressure and scrutiny as the team struggled to an 8-7-9 record, trailing nine teams in the Premier League standings. Leeds, meanwhile, hasn’t fared much better. It defeated Southampton two matches ago but otherwise didn’t win a match in the month of February as it sits near the bottom of the league.

Both of these teams have a lot on the line when they meet tomorrow and you have the opportunity to cash in thanks to DraftKings Sportsbook.

I’ve picked a betting prediction for this game that you might want to use with DraftKings’ new-user offer!

Chelsea vs. Leeds Betting Pick

Hosting Leeds United is a great get-back spot for a Chelsea team that’s favored at -160 odds to win in regulation.

Leeds is +450 to win in regulation. It has won just five matches all season and has struggled lately, too, going 1-1-4 over its past six matches.

There’s a good chance one of these teams breaks through with a big win tomorrow. Here’s who I’m backing and why:

Leeds to win in regulation (+450)

Look, we all know Chelsea hasn’t been playing its best soccer lately and the pressure is clearly getting to Potter.

A report from the Daily Mail writes that the Chelsea board is split over Potter’s future with the club and the coach said he knows how big of a match this is for his future.

“The results are the results and ultimately the coach is responsible, so we have to improve those, that’s the first thing,” Potter said, according to chelseafc.com.

“…As the head coach you have to take that responsibility, that’s the job. I don’t think it’s a total responsibility but it’s certainly a huge responsibility. The results haven’t been good enough, we know that and we accept that. There’s no hiding behind it. We have to do better and that starts with me.”

To add to the pressure that Potter and the team are already facing, the coach said that Mason Mount and Reece James could both miss this match due to injury.

When you look at the stats for Chelsea and Leeds, these two teams actually aren’t that far apart. On the season, Leeds has scored five more goals than Chelsea and has taken 11 more shots (two fewer shots on goal). However, Chelsea does possess the ball, on average, for eight minutes more per match and has conceded 14 fewer goals than Leeds.

But with Chelsea winless in their last six matches and facing building pressure, I’m taking Leeds here with +450 odds, especially if Chelsea is missing Mount and James.

Regardless of what you wager on this weekend, don’t forget that you can start with just $5 and wind up with $150 with one win! Sign up with DraftKings today before this offer ends.
