According to a rather speculative feeling report, there are a plethora of Chelsea stars and relatively new Blues signings expected to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

TalkSPORT claim that CFC are ‘set to offload up to 12’ current players before the 2023/24 season begins. The outlet suggest that the west Londoners might perhaps raise up to £264million in funds for their potentially departing assets. It is said that the wage bill must be drastically reduced.

The personnel who could be leaving, if the rumours are true, include: Ben Chilwell, Mason Mount, Hakim Ziyech, Conor Gallagher, Mateo Kovacic, Armando Broja, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Christian Pulisic, Kai Havertz, Raheem Sterling and Ruben Loftus-Cheek.

Chelsea near to discovering Champions League quarterfinal opponent

If you were wondering and anticipating when Champions League quarter-final draw takes place, fear not. The Blues find out their opposition on Friday, March 17 as proceedings get underway at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland. The scheduled commencement is 12pm Central European Time, or 11am in London, England.

The sides alongside Graham Potter’s outfit due to be drawn are: Bayern Munich, Benfica, Inter Milan, Manchester City and AC Milan. Meanwhile Liverpool and Real Madrid shall battle it out for a place in the QF, with Eintracht Frankfurt and Napoli the final two competitors of the Round of 16.

While no tie is an easy one when playing at the most elite of upper echelons, I believe Chelsea would do well to avoid a few outfits here. Only a miraculous and momentous occasion on Wednesday will stop the progress of Madrid; they are a constant threat. The Naples team are also likely through and a dangerous outfit.

Man City will be sure that 2022/23 is their year; avoiding the Citizens before the final feels appropriate for CFC, again. Nevertheless the remaining potential adversaries carry a menacing air, too.
