Chelsea vs Everton: EPL betting guide and tips
By Mike Malley
A high-scoring contest would be a deviation from the norm in this matchup, though, as it hasn’t gone over two total goals in its five most recent iterations. Chelsea will want to get out of the blocks early again to ensure that conceding a silly goal, which still happens annoyingly often to this defensive unit, doesn’t risk all three points. And if the Toffees do somehow find the back of the net at some point during the 90’, that only increases our chances of cashing this bet.

My Chelsea picks:
I feel really good about my two aforementioned picks this week, and am finally starting to gain confidence in Potter’s Chelsea with each passing game. The team’s attack is more fluid and aggressive than it has been for a majority of the Englishman’s tenure as manager, and goals don’t feel as painstakingly rare as they did only a month ago.
These are two main reasons why I’m taking the Blues over 1.5 team goals at -146 odds and yes on the goals to be scored in both halves prop at -122. I’m going back to the corner kick well with my final pick, taking over 5.5 corners for the home side at -178 odds. I won’t deny these are all relatively safe bets in terms of value, so I’d recommend throwing a few extra units on these plays if it suits your means.
