Coming off of an international break, Graham Potter’s Chelsea seek to continue their unbeaten run that currently stands at four matches.

This weekend on both the men’s and women’s sides, CFC have two critical meetings with Aston Villa. Graham Potter and the Blues suffered significant blows to the injury report during the international break, but the hope is many of them will be prepared for selection on Saturday afternoon. The final meeting between these two sides is going to be vital in deciding if the Blues even have a shot at finishing in a European place.

Unai Emery and the Villains are even on points with the west London side, heading into the Bridge unbeaten in their last four Premier League contests. Potter’s side is returning to action unbeaten in their last three. Despite a run of positive form, the west Londoners have struggled to make their way up the table. Securing all three points over Villa will create some space between the bottom of the top half of the table, and the top of the bottom half of the table.

Injury concerns raise questions about who is even ready to earn a place in the starting XI to kick things off in the month of April. Despite some of these question marks, there are several players that must make their way into the starting XI this Saturday for the Blues to come out on top. Here are three players that Potter needs to give the nod to for a place in the first CFC starting lineup post international break.
