Wolves vs Chelsea: 3 things to look out for

A Chelsea formation Change?
During former Brighton, and Chelsea manager, Graham Potter’s early day’s at the west London club, he set his team out in a 4-2-3-1 formation, similar to how he got his Brighton side playing very well early on this season. It worked to a tea until things hit the fan. Loses after loses, L’s after L’s, defeats, after defeats, you get the point. GP temporarily found a solution to CFC’s issues in a 3-4-3 shape that brought in some fine results, such as wins against Leeds and Leicester respectively. And most famously, a comeback against German side, Borussia Dortmund. He carried on this formation, and to his luck, it didn’t work, and was soon let go.
Frank Lampard on the other hand is also a bit flexible when it comes to formations. His preferred formation in his first managerial stint at Chelsea is an attractive 4-3-3. He’s shown he’s able to change it to a back three/five, like GP, and also a 4-2-3-1. At Everton, Lampard preferred a three/five at the back shape. In this set up, FL wants his side to soak up pressure and spring up the pitch as quick as possible.
‘Super Frank’ defeated Thomas Tuchel’s Chels‘ last season, 1-0 at Goodison Park in an emotional win for the former Toffee head chief. Ultimately it worked for a bit but was sadly let go for experienced relegation fighter, Sean Dyche, whom picked up a point at Stamford Bridge not too long ago. Will FL continue where he left of at Everton, or will he go back to his attacking four at the back route?
