Here is your The Pride of London betting guide and tips for Chelsea’s Premier League clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.

I never thought I’d see Frank Lampard on the Stamford Bridge touchline again when he was sacked back in January of 2021, but then again, this has been a year of unexpected twists and turns. Super Frank’s appointment as the caretaker is a risky one, in my opinion, mostly because Todd Boehly hasn’t displayed the ability to make rational decisions during his tenure as CFC owner and could easily be swayed to hire Lampard full-time if the team lucks into a few positive results.

While I’ll always love and respect the Blues’ greatest No.8 as a player, he’s not a good manager. Period. The last thing this club can afford right now is another misguided managerial hire that prevents these very expensive players from developing to their fullest potential. There’s a lot of pressure on Boehly and the hierarchy at the moment, but they paid big money to be in this kind of position. Running the Dodgers is relatively easy. It’s time they prove they can hack it in the Premier League.
