A second play I really like is Madrid to score over 1.5 goals at -113 odds. The reigning champs have surpassed this number in five of their previous ten matches and looked especially lively in their most recent outing against Villareal, despite ultimately being defeated 3-2 with a second-string defense. It’s not los Bloncos’ back line that has me worried, though, it’s the nearly unstoppable attacking triumvirate of Karim Benzema, Vinicius Jr., and Rodrygo.

The pair have combined for 49 goals in all competitions this season, including nine in the competition, and always seem to turn up in the most important moments. Every CFC supporter will remember Rodrygo’s last-minute finish that sent the tie into extra time last year and know that no lead is safe against the magic of Real Madrid. I honestly don’t think the Blues will have to worry about a scoreline advantage, though.

My Chelsea picks:

Next. Ben Chilwell staying at Chelsea is critically important. dark

We’re officially heading down the home stretch of the campaign, so it’s time to cash in. The recent run of poor form has made it easy to cash in on unders, but the quality of the opposition this deep into a European run makes it difficult to predict low-scoring contests. With that in mind, I’m going largely pro-Real Madrid with my picks for Wednesday’s match. Give me Real moneyline at -135 and over 1.5 goals on their team total at -113. For my final pick, I’ll take under 9.5 corner kicks at -120 odds. My mindset ahead of kickoff is hope for the best, but expect the worst. At the very least, we’ll make some money. Odds are constantly subject to change.
