Is it time for Chelsea to give Aubameyang a go?
This turns our attention to the former Arsenal skipper; the 33-year-old joined the west London outfit after a short spell with the Spanish giants, F.C. Barcelona, where he had a slow start but then went on to score 13 goals within a few moths. This is another reason why former Chelsea Head Coach Thomas Tuchel who coached Aubameyang at Borussia Dortmund wanted him at the club.
To his surprise, the Gaffer was sacked within a week and Aubameyang was left at Graham Potter’s mercy who didn’t include him in his plans. This saw the Gabonese International being unregistered from the UCL squad after his move away from the club in the January transfer window didn’t materialise. Later on, he had the option of moving to the MLS on loan, but Aubameyang was determined to work hard and compete for a spot at the club.
Now with every other attacker struggling, it is time to give Aubameyang a go. The club barely have anything to lose. And if our No.9 strikes, Chels‘ might finish high enough to qualify for the Europa Conference League and if luck plans to join the project we might qualify for the Europa League too.
Will Aubameyang get the chance he deserves?
