Mourinho’s record at Chelsea is phenomenal. The special one is the most successful boss at Stamford Bridge with eight trophies, including three League titles, three league cups, an FA cup and a community shield. Over his two stints at the club, the Portuguese managed 321 games and had a record of 204 wins, 69 draws, and 48 losses. Jose left an ever lasting impact on the league and the club, with his park the bus tactic, and 15 goals conceded in a league season, a record that still stands. The backline had leaders like John Terry and Ricardo Carvalho at the back.

Antonio Conte overtook a Chelsea side that struggled a season before and finished 10th in the league and managed a record of 12 wins,14 draws,12 losses and finished with 50 points. A sight that is eerily similar to the woes the Blues face this season. Conte played a 3-4-3 structure using wingbacks Marcos Alonso and Victor Moses and took the league by storm, leading the club to their 5th EPL title. While Diego Costa and Eden Hazard were leading the strike force and making things tick, it was the solidified defensive structure that was the foundation of the team. The defenders even pitched in for goals with the backline scoring 15 goals out the 85 the team scored in the league.

Thomas Tuchel came to London and implemented a five at the back system to solidify the back and coached a well drilled team with the emphasis on defense. Tuchel was in charge for a 100 games and boasts a record of 60 wins, 24 draws and 16 losses.
