Tuesday’s London derby between Arsenal and Chelsea at the Emirates Stadium is a game that the Gunners must win to maintain their title hopes. Mikel Arteta’s team lost 4-1 to Manchester City in their previous outing, and although they still lead the Premier League standings by two points, City has two games in hand and will reclaim the top spot if they win at Fulham on Sunday. In their last four games, Arsenal have won one, drawn three, and lost one as their title defence has faltered at the worst possible time.

After Todd Boehly sacking Graham Potter, Chelsea went off the rails a very long time ago, and interim manager Frank Lampard has lost all five of his matches. It just seems ‘Super Frank’ is completely out of his depth as he’s now just throwing players into the mix and waiting to see what happens. The Blues’ midweek 2-0 loss to Brentford at home completes the Chels’ legend’s misery. With thoughts of possible CFC relegation being a popular topic, it is still highly unlikely we will see the west Londoners head down to the Championship. Despite everything going wrong at the ‘The Pride of London,’ the club still has fixtures that can ‘make or break’ another’s season.
