How Chelsea can play a crucial role in the PL title race

Despite everything going wrong at the blue side on the capital, the derby against Arsenal is a must turn up fixture no matter what. Pride is on the line and is something that Blues fans worldwide can take some positives out of this depressing season. Like I mentioned previously, the Gunners’ are not in fine form and especially in a derby, you must up your game.

Relegation is merely unlikely, this should be treated as a cup final to stop one of Chelsea’s most bitter London rivals from winning the biggest prize in the country. Despite no winners are going to be declared no matter the result, anything other than a win for the reds is an arrow to the food in their perspective. Manchester City, as I say have not only one game in hand, but two, and can very possibly leap frog the north Londoners.

Flashback to the season of 2015/16, the Blues’ were midtable regulars throughout the season and not much going on positively. The other North Londoners, Tottenham, were in a title battle with surprised season package, Leicester City, whom were declared champions of England as Chelsea halted Spurs in a 2-2 draw at the Bridge.
