Todd Boehly’s ownership regime has been nothing short of a disaster so far, even with the American’s big spending initially serving as a distraction from the team’s shortcomings on the pitch. And Chelsea’s next matchup, also a London Derby, will likely only exacerbate the fanbase’s unhappiness.

Trips to the Emirates have never been the easiest endeavors for the Blues. Their recent history in north London would suggest that the journey is rather difficult, with Chelsea winning only two of their previous five road matches against Arsenal. Evidently, the Gunners of the past are not the Gunners of this year. While their form has certainly dipped in recent weeks, Mikel Arteta and his squad have transformed into an annoyingly entertaining unit that’s given Manchester City its biggest challenge since the COVID-interrupted season that saw Liverpool raise the Premier League trophy for the first time.
