Watch out Blues supporters, here is Todd Boehly’s appraisal of his first year at Chelsea Football Club. The Pride of London offer our verdict as well.

Yeah, I was intrigued to see what the co-owner has said, too. We all know that things have not gone to plan at Stamford Bridge in 2022/23. The understatement of the century. However, it is fair to give the chairman time and to hear how he, Behdad Eghbali and their staff plan to resolve the mounting issues on and off the pitch. We already know what pundits and experts like Gary Neville think. As you can see below, the former Manchester United defender, now at Sky Sports, says Boehly’s running of the club has been disgusting. That particular statement is slightly strong, in my opinion. Though I agree with a suggestion that the way CFC has been run is cause for the decline.

So, what has Boehly learned? ‘A lot’, according to the billionaire. In addition, the American reveals that they are now aware that Blues fans are ‘demanding’. Wow, anyone could tell you that; all English fan of any club are expectant, including myself. In spite of a massively challenging season, Boehly believes that they ‘will work out the problems’ with the help of a ‘conductor’ of a head coach.

Frank Lampard promises winger he’ll get more minutes at Chelsea

Lampard’s own supposed comments on the modern ownership group appear to be rather scathing. You can read a partial quote underneath, or in full by clicking here.

"‘Chelsea has been a big success for 20 years but at the moment we aren’t in that position. In the time I’ve been here it’s clear to see behind the scenes, on the training ground, the reasons why.’"

Meanwhile, the temporary gaffer also spoke on Noni Madueke after his first Chels‘ goal, scored in another frightful outing against Arsenal. Following an ‘impressive’ outing versus the Gunners, Lampard revealed that Madueke will receive further opportunities with the west London side.

As with other highly rated new signings, the 20-year-old has struggled to instantly adapt to the Premier League. Many fresh talents do. Nevertheless, Madueke is certainly one to keep an eye on.
