Incoming Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has supposedly identified a priority area in the team to strengthen with a probable Blues signing.

Prior to his advent at Stamford Bridge, Pochettino has a complete and awaiting Chelsea to do list. He will also be devising his Blues priorities before entering the club. Anybody who’s watched CFC play this season know a big shake-up is requisite.

And ‘Poch’ has already singled out the position that requires his immediate attention: the goalkeeping role. This could leave either Kepa Arrizabalaga or Edouard Mendy demoted or departing. Many stoppers are linked with Chels’ at the moment.

Todd Boehly has two major changes in mind at Chelsea

The CFC chairman has work to do. He also seems the kind of chap who would never give up on his objectives before they are achieved. We can see that in the form of his business and financier practices, as well as the success at baseball team Los Angeles Dodgers. However, things have gone drastically wrong at the Bridge since his arrival along with Behdad Eghbali and the rest of their staff.

Nevertheless, the co-owners have some ideas in order to resurrect the side as a superpower in world football. In only a year, the Blues have relinquished all Premier League progress and won’t compete in Europe, as was a given for years, for at least one campaign.

Boehly aims to revamp one famous staple of the Roman Abramovich era: loaned players. Apparently the outfit will ‘disband the loan army‘ and implement a new athlete ‘development strategy’ on Fulham Road. Under Abramovich’s ownership, the Blues were ‘accused of stockpiling young players and abusing the loan system’.

In addition to the aforementioned fresh proposal, there is a claim that an operative from Boehly’s ‘business empire’ will imminently join CFC to aid the long-term transitions. Clearlake Capital’s Chris Jurasek’s name was mentioned. The ‘senior figure’ might perhaps become a chief executive at the Bridge.
