Arsenal target 3 Premier League stars including Chelsea international
According to a credible report, Premier League runner-up Arsenal will target three high profile English top-flight players, including out of form and favour Chelsea star Mason Mount.
Will Mount find his feet again at Chelsea or elsewhere? That is the question on many football fans’ minds at present. Obviously we all know that the England man will return to his best, or even better, at some point. I wonder if that will be at Stamford Bridge, Anfield, another EPL side, or in one of Europe’s top five divisions. Class is permanent, but Mount’s form went from temporary to nonexistent at times in 2022/23.
Joining Liverpool in the apparent quest to sign Mount, is Arsenal. That is according to Sky Sports’ report taken from The Athletic. The Gunners, just like the Reds, might perhaps be ideal destinations for the versatile Three Lions midfielder/forward. Yet, as I have said on multiple occasions, the CFC academy product will come back to bite the Blues if they relinquish him. In addition to Mount, the north Londoners will target Manchester City’s and West Ham’s squads. Ilkay Gundogan and Declan Rice are on Mikel Arteta’s radar as well.
Forgotten Chelsea man Tiemoue Bakayoko catches EPL match
Did you know that Bakayoko was still a Blue? Yeah, I know, ridiculous isn’t it?! The AC Milan loanee remains on the books on Fulham Road, in spite of his previous appearance for the Blues being in the 2018 FA Cup final. CFC defeated Manchester United to lift the famous English trophy then, incidentally.
Well, the £40million Chels’ flop was spotted at the West Ham United versus Leeds United match on Sunday. The Hammers are supposedly eyeing up an opportunity to take the Frenchman to London Stadium. He has also been on loan at AS Monaco and Napoli. His contract with the capital club ends next month after a terrible time as a Blues player.
