The Pride of London talk Manchester United icon David Beckham being set to play at Stamford Bridge, and why Mason Mount is unhappy at Chelsea.
David Beckham, Rio Ferdinand and Alex Scott are just some of the names who will reportedly play in Game4Ukraine at the Bridge to raise funds for ‘President Volodymyr Zelensky’s United24 global charity’. Hailed as one of the biggest events of that nature this year, it is great that a good cause can benefit. Beckham played against the Blues on 22 occasions during his legendary career; that’s the highest amount he made against any opponent. Some of his appearances at the Bridge were slightly controversial and not without incident. That goes for whilst was playing and during retirement as a spectacular. Beckham certainly directly goaded the home support at least twice while at Manchester United with infamous celebrations and fan ‘interaction’.
When returning to Fulham Road to watch Paris Saint-Germain just over seven years ago in March 2016 with son Brooklyn, the ex-professional was involved in an apparent ‘altercation’ at the ground. The former apparently clashed with then CFC vice-president Joe Hemani because the pair celebrated PSG’s Adrien Rabiot’s goal too exuberantly and were told to calm down. I am sure that the onetime England captain will be act and be treated well by all associated with Chels’ when the friendly takes place.
Why Mason Mount is supposedly unhappy at Chelsea
We all know that Mount’s future is uncertain. If you read reports on the subject, it seems as though the Three Lions international almost has his pick of the big six to move to. Ex-Blue Oscar has ostensibly revealed the reason why the midfielder is considering leaving and weighing up available options. The Brazilian hinted that Mount’s discontent derives from not featuring enough in the team.
"“Of course, he wants to play and he wants to play more. I think if he’s not happy at Chelsea, sometimes it’s better to find another team. If he’s still happy and if he wants to try and be a great player at Chelsea, he needs to stay.”Mirror"
