Chelsea Football Club reportedly aim to generate a massive £100million by selling these particular four players. In the future there may be another mass exodus as well, with more Blues potentially being ousted.

The Daily Mail suggest that Chelsea would be willing to sell four well-known players, and the sales could make the club £100m. The quartet consists of Conor Gallagher, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Trevoh Chalobah and Callum Hudson-Odoi. Gallagher’s apparent price tag is £40m; Loftus-Cheek and Chalobah are both valued at £25m; only £10m is purportedly required to aquire Hudson-Odoi.

Are these realistic expectations from CFC’s ownership and recruitment chiefs? Yeah, I’d say so. How about the report? Seems legit, but to be taken with a pinch of salt in my opinion. I would argue that ‘RLC’ is worth more than the quoted estimate. Though having one-year remaining on a deal limits options and worth.

Who else is leaving Chelsea for free or returning to parent clubs?

First of all on the exit list are a few Blues loanees: Denis Zakaria of Juventus and Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix. I rate the latter as a potential world star, as many observers do. Yet I do not believe that the Portuguese is a winger or an out-and-out striker: he is best suited as a No.10. The Switzerland international is capable of making a full transition in the Premier League, but it won’t be with Chels’.

Secondly, the west London outfit are massively unlikely to retain the misfiring misfit that is Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The Blues hierarchy will consider taking a loss, possibly even a free transfer to rid themselves of the ex-Arsenal man.

N’Golo Kante is another who is now increasingly likely to leave for nothing. Although, it is also said that Mauricio Pochettino wants to retain the World Cup-winner. Kante appears to be undecided in spite of rumours, according to this claim; contract negotiations are apparently deadlocked.
