Enraged football ultras have targeted Chelsea owner Todd Boehly following CFC’s takeover of French Ligue 1 side Strasbourg.

After the exit of a few aging or underwhelming Blues stars to Saudi Arabia, Chelsea could ship out more players to France. The Premier League is supposedly ‘entirely satisfied‘ of no conflict of interest between the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) and the team from England, so the capital club is free to continue setting up its network. As CFC now hold a majority stake in Strasbourg FC, the French team are looking to exploit the relationship by loaning in David Datro Fofana.

Although, this prospective switch will possibly not appease certain les Bleu et Blanc supporters. It appears that some of the Strasbourg faithful are opposed to being a part of Chelsea’s propsed multi-club model. In reply to the news, pictures have emerged reportedly of members of le Racing’s ultras holding a banner stating: ‘Boehly not welcome‘.

Nicolas Jackson to Chelsea gets the celebrated ‘here we go’ from Fabrizio Romano

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed what most of us were expecting regarding the latest rumours. Nicolas Jackson is heading to west London where he will become a permanent Blue. The Italian claims Chels’ have reached an agreement with Villarreal and there will be another new footballer on Fulham Road very soon.

The Stamford Bridge side receive a favourable installment plan, which they seem to favour. But the Blues shall pay slightly more than the reported €35million release clause. A medical has ostensibly been scheduled. Meanwhile the journalist suggests that personal terms have been agreed already.

Some fans believe Jackson is being signed in merely as a player with potential or possibly one for the near future, similarly to Noni Madueke. Yet I have a feeling that the 22-year-old might perhaps make a decent impact and impression during preseason or in early cup rounds and therefore force his way into Mauricio Pochettino’s plans. It will definitely be interesting to see how the athlete adapts to the Premier League.
