Predicted Chelsea starting XI for Fulham game: Jackson starts in 4-2-3-1
The season opener is only two weeks away and Chelsea are set to play the last game of the Premier League Summer Series against Fulham F.C. at FedExField, Maryland. The Blues find themselves on the second place of the points table only behind Aston Villa on GD.
Although Pochettino’s CFC have looked promising so far, there is uncertainty surrounding multiple aspects of this squad. A bunch of players which include the group training at Cobham need to be sold and then decisions have to be made in terms of loanees. After trimming the squad size, we need to find solutions to our midfield problems.
And the fact that we’ll be left with only one friendly against Borussia Dortmund after the Fulham game is very concerning. The clocks ticking and if Chelsea don’t move quickly and wisely, the club may end up ruining what has so far been a 10/10 window.
Predicted Chelsea XI (4-2-3-1)
Goalkeeper: Kepa Arrizabalaga (Spain)
All though a fair share of supporters are a bit apprehensive when it comes to playing Arrizabalaga between the sticks, the decision is made. However there is no clarity as to who serves as deputy to the Spaniard. Jamie Cumming and Lucas Bergstrom are the frontrunners for this role and might get a chance to feature in the upcoming games.
