Central Midfield: Conor Gallagher (England)
The Chels’ faithful do not have the faintest of idea as to what will happen in the Caicedo saga which is still being dragged. Amongst all of this, Chelsea have rejected a bid for Gallagher who is known for his work ethic, which has finally begun to bear fruit in these last few games.
Central Midfield: Andrey Santos
Enzo Fernandez will obviously be one of the first names on the team sheet when the season begins and is likely to start against Dortmund too, this leaves the Fulham game as the last chance for the wonderkid to make a statement.
I'm sure Chelsea will sign a midfielder (or two) soon, but can't see it happening much before the season starts. If we have to trust Casadei, Chukwuemeka, Andrey Santos etc for a few weeks then I have no doubt they can step up to the task.

Central Attacking Midfield: Christopher Nkunku (France)
The Frenchman struggled in this role and was not involved. However the coaching staff must’ve worked on the weaknesses and will want to put Nkunku out there again with more clear instructions this time as Jackson’s form will prevent him from playing up top.
