Mauricio Pochettino’s Blues will host Luton Town at  Stamford Bridge in Gameweek 3. Chelsea have only managed to pick one point from their first two games and are still looking for their first win of the 23/34 Premier League season. Luton on the other hand have only played one game where Brighton nearly enjoyed total domination in a 4-1 beating.

Although Chelsea’s results are similar to what we witnessed last season, there is a significant upgrade in the football we play. The west Londeners have dominated most parts of the game and look brave on the ball. However the finishing in the final third and our luck to some extent has robbed us off a good start to the season.

In terms of updates on injuries, Chukwuemeka joins the list of unavailable players after picking up a knee injury and leaving the London Stadium on crutches. Armando Broja and Benoit Badiashile are back on the grass with the former already having joined team training. However Mykhailo Mudryk and Romeo Lavia were absent.

Goalkeeper: Robert Sanchez (Spain)

Chelsea have completed the signing of Djordje Petrovic from New England Revolution. Although majority of the fanbase believes that he is here to serve as backup to the Spaniard, his stats look unreal. And if Sanchez continues to struggle, he could soon be replaced by the Serbian. Premier League legend Brad Friedel has already branded him by saying,

"“Tremendous worker and shot-stopper. Very rarely leaves bad rebounds, exceptional at holding shots.” “He has a wonderful career ahead of him and has been the best goalkeeper in the MLS by a country mile. I’ve mentioned him to quite a few PL teams.” “He’s the kind of keeper that you and the whole team, especially the defense, feels comfortable with when you have him behind you. His defensive skills, how he protects the team, and defensively how he reacts to the side balls, his presence in the defensive way is really great.” (via Sportskeeda)"
