Right Centre back: Axel Disasi (France)

Axel Disasi enjoyed a dream debut scoring Chelsea’s only goal of the game. But the last two games have been nothing special. He has been caught out of position on numerous occasions and the return of his fellow frenchman Benoit Badiashile could put his spot in danger.

Centre back: Bashir Humphreys (England)

England U-20’s centre back Bashir Humphreys has looked promising in every game that he’s played for this club. He was loaned out to Paderborn mid-season and has shown signs of improvement. He was sharp in all of the pre season games and will definitely feature in cup game where the likes of Thiago Silva could be rested.

Left Centre back: Marc Cucurella (Spain)

The Spaniard has been linked with a move to the Red Devils. Manchester United need to strengthen the left side of their defence and look at Cucurella as the perfect fit. He doesn’t start ahead of Ben Chilwell at the club who is also the captain now, so a move away from Chelsea does make sense. However, Pochettino would want to give him a chance to impress before making the final call.
