We must keep a clean sheet

Sounds obvious if we want to win, but the key to the Blues getting any point out of this game will be to not concede to Fulham’s attack. The Cottagers are having an average season with 2 wins in 6 league matches but they do have several attacking outlets that can cause our defense issues.  There are the likes of former Chelsea man Willian, as well as Andreas Pereira, Raul Jimenez and Carlos Vinicius that are all capable of giving Fulham the advantage.

The flanks in particular will likely be exploited with no natural right back to our disposal and Ian Maatsen not be tested enough defensively yet at left back. This CFC team is still struggling to score much less without our usual starting striker.  So if the Blues are to win this game the key would be to maintain a clean sheet while drudging to score ourselves. Otherwise, the path to 3 points will be steep.
