Ex-Chelsea star reveals it was tough to leave the Blues this summer

A former-Chelsea star has revealed that it was difficult leaving the Blues this summer. And it appears as though a forgotten player is now in the boss’s plans. The Pride of London on Callum Hudson-Odoi and Marc Cucurella.

Hudson-Odoi spent 16 long years at Stamford Bridge. He is proud to have been a Chelsea player, judging by some very complimentary and grateful comments in a recent interview with Sky Sports.

The Blues are so much in his heart, in fact, that it was apparently a ‘tough’ and ’emotional’ decision to leave the capital club at long last. The winger says he is now determined to succeed with new side Nottingham Forest. You can read the full transcript here.

Forgotten Chelsea player looks set to be involved with Mauricio Pochettino’s Blues going forward

It appears as though a high profile Blue, who reportedly almost departing for Manchester United in the past transfer window, is back in favour with CFC gaffer Mauricio Pochettino. After starting the previous two games against Brighton & Hove Albion, his onetime club, along with the Fulham clash, Cucurella is no longer in limbo or obscurity.

Obviously very untimely injuries to brilliant Chels‘ fullbacks Ben Chilwell and Reece James initially altered and accelerated the Spaniard’s situation. Yet the former Seagull grasped opportunities with both hands and will seemingly not relinquish the grip. The fact that the instantly recognisable footballer, 25, can play as a wingback, as well as a left or right back, bodes well.

I think that now we have seen ‘Cucu’ in a winning Premier League team with the Blues, he is likely to feature more regularly.
