Additionally, it seems as though Mykhailo Mudryk and Moises Caicedo will both be available for the meeting with Vincent Kompany’s men.

Meanwhile, Chelsea legend Eden Hazard is back among the headlines. The former Real Madrid winger is set to feature in a charity game. There is uncertainty about the 32-year-old’s future career, although he is linked with an eventual free transfer to Stamford Bridge.

Hearsay concerning potential new Chelsea contract for Conor Gallagher

Described as a ‘dominant force’ in midfield after the most recent Chels’ fixture against west London rivals Fulham, Gallagher looks increasingly undroppable for Pochettino. In fact, the Argentine gaffer named the England international as captain for almost half of the matches this campaign.

James and Chilwell’s respective absences naturally contributed in enabling Gallagher as CFC skipper. Though, the onetime Crystal Palace loanee is now seizing his chance under ‘Poch’, following steady progress; the Blues Academy product has started all but one clash for his boss.

According to reports, the 23-year-old will be rewarded for his influence in the side if an agreement can be made; incredibly, Gallagher is practically an elder statesman on this roster.
