Thiago Silva (No. 6) Centerback, Brazil

Silva is another one who has picked up form in recent times, though his physical limitations still leave Chelsea in less-than-ideal positions at points during games. His passing has been excellent and he has been great in the air. Unlike Disasi, his ground duel win rate rose, from 25% as at Gameweek 2, to 60% now. Like Disasi, he has been great in the air and his ball progression has been equally good.

Levi Colwill (No. 26) Left back, England

A very proud moment for the youngster as he made his England debut during the just-concluded international break. He was poor on the night, but it was a good experience for him. He played left back there too, which should worry him slightly because he wants to establish himself as a centerback to his managers sooner rather than later.

Moises Caicedo (No. 25) Central midfielder, Ecuador

Caicedo easily starts for the Blues when fit. He has been superb this season. According to Sofascore, The youngster boasts a ridiculous 91% long ball accuracy, a number that would be impressive as a general passing accuracy. He has also been key in ball movement and progression. He has been an excellent tackler and has won 63% of his duels, despite winning more than five per game.

Enzo Fernandez (No. 8) Central midfielder, Argentina

Thankfully, Pochettino eventually discarded the Enzo-as-an-Attacking-Midfielder experiment. The Argentine has played deeper in his last few games for Chelsea and not only has he looked much better, he has made the team much better as well. The youngster is still yet to register a goal or an assist in the league this season, despite boasting 1.47 expected assists and 2.2 expected goals. His tackling has not been great, but his contribution to the team distribution-wise, should make up for whatever he doesn’t do off-the-ball.
