Chelsea are apparently trying to finalise a new contract for one of their star players amid Premier League transfer interest. Will Conor Gallagher re-sign? And latest Blues fans’ favourite, Cole Palmer, speaks about beating Tottenham Hotspur and the upcoming match against his former club, Manchester City.

Gallagher is an ever-present for Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea. Therefore it is no surprise to read that the club wants to extend his stay at Stamford Bridge. The one-time Crystal Palace loanee is on the more reliable end of the contemporary CFC roster.

The west Londoners are reportedly now stepping up efforts to renew Gallagher’s deal. Meanwhile Tottenham, West Ham United and Newcastle United are respectively circling in case of a chance to swoop.

Cole Palmer talks to the official Chelsea website ahead of a testing game that will surely gauge the Blues

Palmer is definitely the NKOTB at the Bridge. For those of you young enough to be unfamiliar with the 1980s, he’s the New Kid on the Block. The ex-Man City man is really getting into the swing of things with the Blues, simultaneously showing why he was seemingly worth the £40million or so he was acquired for. Seven goal involvements in 10 games is astonishing work for a 21-year-old who’s just joined a new Premier League team.

And Palmer is delighted with how things are going on Fulham Road. He even said that the win against Spurs on Monday was the type of momentous victory he dreamed about as a boy. If Chels’ beat other outfits like Tottenham whilst both are at full capacity – the entire CFC fan base will be in dreamland.
