3 Things Mauricio Pochettino has got right at Chelsea this season

Excellent Man Management
Since the new ownership’s arrival, there’s been an unprecedented number of young signings made and the mismanagement of a large group of players is one of the reasons that was attributed to former manager Graham Potter’s failure at the club. Upon Pochettino’s arrival in the summer, the hierarchy reasonably departed with many players in an exodus that saw the squad size massively reduced. Yet new signings that were also made during the summer have once again swelled the CFC ranks.
Injuries have prevented Pochettino from having access to his complete arsenal of players, but the Argentinian has mitigated the early crisis well. Captain Reece James gradual return highlights an appropriate cautious approach and effective management to prevent further setbacks. More players are now starting to return from injury and will be eased into increased playing time. Although injuries are never a good thing, it’s allowed for more squad rotation and given Pochettino the opportunity to experiment with more under looked players in the team like Marc Cucurella and Lesley Ugochukwu.
Beyond the pitch, there’s a positive atmosphere among the players and the fanbase that has been restored with Pochettino’s arrival. All players are on record about how positive their relationship is with the manager and the young players have put their trust in the Argentinian to further their development. Unlike last season, reports of player discontent have vanished, and actually a majority of the squad have demonstrated a commitment to staying and fighting for their place even in the face of uncertain gametime. To put it simple, the positive vibes are back at Stamford Bridge and this crop of players under Mauricio Pochettino have rejuvenated joy from the fanbase to push the Blues back to glory.
