Chelsea turn to Osimhen alternative while Sarr and Chalobah wanted
Chelsea might reportedly now turn to a Victor Osimhen alternative. Meanwhile Blues outcasts Malang Sarr and Trevoh Chalobah are supposedly wanted for transfers.
As Financial Fair Play news hits the headlines – even dragging Chelsea in regarding a separate matter – The Pride of London continue to assess all aspects of the Blues sphere. One element of the CFC team which has misfired slightly this season – pun sadly intended – is the forward department. Centreforwards to be exact. Well, Armando Broja hasn’t featured a whole lot as of yet, so really we are talking about Nicolas Jackson. I think there is a Premier League striker in there somewhere. With a little refinement on the training ground and further composure in competitive matches, Jackson could be deadly for the west Londoners in the English top-flight as well as the Champions League.
But Chelsea bosses and management may not wait long enough for the former Villarreal man’s full potential to reach a climax. Jackson is raw but has started to score. This makes the argument more complex, and scouting alternatives debatable. Nevertheless, the Blues have been linked with Victor Osimhen for a long time. Yet he may not be coming to Stamford Bridge as there is another target being assessed by CFC scouts. Club Brugge’s Antonio Nusa is said to be on the English capital outfit’s radar. Although, he is only 18 and considered more of a wide operator.
Roma are apparently after unwanted Chelsea players Malang Sarr and Trevoh Chalobah
Chalobah and Sarr are purportedly ‘surplus to requirements’ on Fulham Road. The former was used quite regularly by Graham Potter and others. But I cannot see him getting into Mauricio Pochettino’s plans when fit. Sarr is even less likely to feature. A claim suggests both are desired at Roma by Jose Mourinho. We shall see.
