Predicted Chelsea XI vs Newcastle: Cucurella starts in 4-2-3-1 formation
Right Wing: Cole Palmer (England)
The 21-year-old has returned to Cobham after making his International debut with England. He has really enjoyed his football over the last few weeks. Palmer has registered at least one key pass in each of his 11 appearances for us in all competitions, with his four against Brentford the highest figure in a single game. And the Blues will expect him to flourish all the more now with the return of Christopher Nkunku.
Left Wing: Raheem Sterling (England)
The outing against his former club – Manchester City was arguably the best we’ve seen of Raheem Sterling so far. He admitted that he struggled at the club last season but those days are long gone. He has looked very lively on counter attacks and has not hesitated when it comes to taking risks. The world class winger we signed is finally delivering.
Striker: Nicolas Jackson (Senegal)
Nicolas Jackson has taken his goal tally to six in the Premier League with four goals in the last two games. However with Nkunku returning to the squad, the Senegalese International’s game time is bound to reduce. He needs to ensure that he makes the most of every opportunity presented to him now as any signs of incompetence will severely affect his role at the club.
What changes would you make to this lineup?
