One of the club’s bigger signings from the summer, Canadian international Deanne Rose will more than likely be out for Sunday with a hamstring issue that she sustained against Arsenal. She’ll be accompanied by youngster Shannon O’Brien who has not played since October 21 when she suffered a quadriceps injury against Man City.

On the Blues’ side, Bright will be not feature in England’s upcoming UEFA Nation’s League fixtures. The club announced that the captain is slated to stay back in west London after this match instead of going on international duty to receive more treatment on her knee. In for Bright will be either Maren Mjelde or Kadeisha Buchanan alongside Jess Carter. The Canadian started in the mid-week, potentially meaning No. 18 may be destined for a start at Kingsmeadow.

The international break awaits on the other side of the 90 minutes. The fifth match of this two week stretch is nearly at its end. There is nothing about LCFC that you can take lightly anymore. From what we’ve seen so far this season, there is no evidence that the home side is bound to.
