1. Eve Perisset

There have been some rumblings on “X” of Perisset’s new nickname being “The Mailwomen” because all she does is deliver. Since there are no lies detected in that statement, we at The Pride of London are here to endorse that. Last week in the post-match piece we said there we will brainstorm a nickname. That is not going to stop, but as of this moment, “The Mailwomen” it is.

At this point, there is nobody more deserving of a goal. Once again, the French defender pieced together another top-class display on the right flank. Her display was far more than just the assist she registered in the dying seconds to Beever-Jones to seal it. That was purely the icing on top of the cake.

All afternoon long, No. 15 was as solid as they come. She does all the little things so well. Tidy on the ball. Inch perfect in her duels. Swift in her recoveries. It is a true treat to have her in blue until the summer of 2025. Ashley Lawrence may be the more well-known figure on the wing of the defense, but Perisset is beginning to make herself a fan favorite. Lawrence could replace her with time, but that is not going to be for quite a while. Once the French international adjusted to life in England at the beginning of last season, she more than exceeded expectations set by outsiders.

Must Read. James returns for this game but who’ll replace the Chelsea captain?. light

Following a week without a contest, Chelsea Women travel north for the “big one” at the Emirates with a chance to go a whole six points clear at the top of the WSL.
