Right Back: Reece James (England)

After recovering from his injuries and suspension, club captain Reece James is set to return to the starting XI against Manchester United. He has been dogged by misfortune and will be hoping to make a statement in the next game.

Centre Back: Thiago Silva (Brazil)

Thiago Silva didn’t take long to make up for his performance against the Magpies. The veteran yet again proved that his reading of the game is second to none. Some of the tackles he made were out of this world. He also got his name on another record as he is now the oldest centre back to play in the Premier League.

Must Read. Pochettino finally sees what he desires from Chelsea team. light

Centre Back: Benoit Badiashile (France)

Mr. Reliable – Benoit Badiashile is back. He is a brick-wall and complimented Silva so beautifully. His aerial presence and physicality is a massive boost to the side especially when it comes to set pieces; making use of which he also bagged a clean assist.

Left Back: Marc Cucurella (Spain)

Yes, Levi Colwill was on the scoresheet and put on a decent display against his former club but he clearly isn’t as effective as Marc Cucurella out wide. The Spaniard deserves every plaudit for his exceptional work this season on both flanks and Pochettino is bound to give him the nod over Colwill.
