It is slowly inching towards that time of the year again. Every year, us football fans load up the new FC game on our consoles, hoping for an upgrade and an improvement, and every year, we are left with disappointment.

Chelsea fans who play the game will also look to see if their team has finally been given good ratings or not, as they have been around the four stars and a half threshold for quite some time now.

EA have officially started the roll-out for player ratings from Monday, and Chelsea fans will certainly be keen to see who's got what ratings.

Some of them are actually accurate, to be fair to EA, but it seems like they criminally underrated a few stars a bit too much after the kind of season they had last time around. Here are three such players who get bad ratings despite winning a lot last season.

Pedro Neto - 80

Pedro Neto has been a much-needed option at right-wing ever since he joined the club in 2024. He has been performing well, and scored nine goals and provided nine assists in all competitions last season.

It is fair to say he deserved a rating higher than just 80. He was a 79 last time out, and it feels like EA have not been fair when it comes down to rating the Portuguese. He should've been higher than an 80. Probably an 83 would've been more understandable.

Enzo Fernandez - 84

Enzo Fernandez was hugely criticised day after day when he first joined the club in 2023.

He was good, but he had problems showing up on a consistent basis for Chelsea in the first year of his time at the club.

Last season, though, he improved tremendously and showed importance with and without the ball. He became a huge part of Enzo Maresca's side, consistently performing admirably behind the ball, defending well, tracking runners, and making good, progressive passes. He was probably one of the best in the league at what he does, and he has only improved now.

To give a player like that just an 84 rating is to criminally underrate an actual baller. He should have been an 85, at least. I would've given him an 86.

Malo Gusto - 79

Imagine being the starting right-back for a whole season at one of the biggest clubs in the world, improving on all levels, playing consistently, only to get a 79 rating on EAFC 26.

Gusto was a huge part of this Chelsea side when Reece James was out. To only give him a 79 after how much he helped the team is a bit of a joke, to be honest.

He deserved much more than that. Gusto is one of the best young right-backs in the league, and it is time people take notice.
