Josh Acheampong
Josh Acheampong is another youngster who has impressed in the UEFA Conference League this season though he has not been given as much of an opportunity as George. Acheampong has made 4 starts for the Blues in the competition and has not scored a goal or recorded an assist but has been very solid defensively.
His last start was against Legia in the first leg and it was at his preferred position of right back though he is more than capable of playing as a centerback as well. He eanred himself a 7.7 rating from FotMob for the game and played all 90 minutes.
With a crucial match against Fulham coming up on the weekend in the Premier League, we expect Acheampong to regain his starting spot and play the full 90 once again. He received some high praise from Enzo Maresca after the match and he is one to watch as a potential backup to Reece James moving forward.
Chelsea have had to shuffle the deck in the back line and Acheampong allows for some positional versatility because he can play multiple positions. He will be tested against a Legia side that will have to attack to try and overturn the three-goal deficit but we know he will be up to the task.
